Refund & Cancellation Policy

Overview

At Evon Creates, every project is a custom creative engagement. Because time, creative resources, and scheduling are reserved specifically for each client, all sales and bookings are subject to the terms outlined in this policy. Please read carefully before booking.

 

Payment Structure

All projects require a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure your booking and begin work. The remaining balance is due in full prior to the delivery of any final files, assets, or deliverables.

 

No final files will be released until the balance is paid in full. This applies to all services, including graphic design, product photography, and creative direction.

 

Client Cancellations

If you need to cancel a project, please notify us as soon as possible in writing via email.

 

The following terms apply based on project stage at the time of cancellation:

 

•  Cancelled before work has begun: The deposit is non-refundable. No additional charges apply.

•  Cancelled after work has begun: The deposit is non-refundable. If work completed exceeds the value of the deposit, you will be invoiced for the additional time and work completed up to the cancellation date.

•  Cancelled after final delivery: No refunds will be issued once final files have been delivered and approved.

 

Cancellations do not release the client from payment obligations for work already completed.

 

Photo Shoot Cancellations & Rescheduling

Photography sessions require advance planning, location coordination, equipment preparation, and scheduling. The following cancellation terms apply specifically to photo shoots:

 

•  Cancellations made 72+ hours before the scheduled shoot: Your deposit may be applied as a credit toward a rescheduled session, subject to availability.

•  Cancellations made within 48–72 hours of the shoot: The deposit is forfeited. A new deposit will be required to rebook.

•  Cancellations made within 24 hours of the shoot (or no-shows): The deposit is forfeited and a cancellation fee equal to 25% of the remaining balance may be charged to cover reserved time and preparation costs.

 

Rescheduling requests must be made at least 72 hours in advance and are subject to availability. Evon Creates will make reasonable accommodations for rescheduling when notified in a timely manner.

 

Cancellation by Evon Creates

In the rare event that Evon Creates must cancel a project or session, you will receive a full refund of any amounts paid, including the deposit. We will make every reasonable effort to notify you as early as possible and, where feasible, offer to reschedule or refer you to a trusted alternative.

 

Revisions

Revision rounds vary by project and will be outlined in your individual project proposal or agreement. Revisions are defined as reasonable adjustments within the original project scope.

 

Requests that fall outside the original scope — such as concept changes, additional deliverables, or significant directional shifts — will be treated as new work and quoted accordingly. Revision requests do not qualify for refunds.

 

Rush Fees

Projects requiring expedited turnaround — defined as a deadline that falls outside our standard production timeline — are subject to a rush fee. Rush fees are typically 25–50% of the project total, depending on the timeline and scope.

 

Rush fees are non-refundable and will be communicated and agreed upon before work begins. If you are unsure whether your timeline qualifies as a rush, please reach out before booking.

 

Digital Files & Deliverables

All deliverables from Evon Creates are digital files (e.g., JPEGs, PNGs, PDFs, layered design files). Because digital files cannot be returned, all sales are final once files have been delivered.

 

If you experience a technical issue receiving your files, please contact us within 7 days of delivery and we will re-send them at no additional cost.

 

Inactive Projects & Client Unresponsiveness

Creative projects require ongoing communication and timely feedback from both parties. If a client becomes unresponsive, the following policy applies:

 

•  If we do not receive a response within 14 days of reaching out, the project will be placed on hold.

•  If we do not receive a response within 30 days, the project will be considered abandoned. The deposit will be forfeited and the project closed with no further obligation from Evon Creates.

•  If you wish to restart an abandoned project, a new deposit will be required and the project will be re-queued based on current availability.

 

We understand life happens — if you need to pause a project, just let us know in advance and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

 

Product Handling & Returns (Photography Clients)

When brands send physical products to Evon Creates for photography purposes, the following terms apply. By shipping product to us, you agree to these conditions.

Product Receipt

All products sent to Evon Creates for a shoot must be accompanied by a written itemized list detailing every item included in the shipment (product name, quantity, shade/variant, and any other relevant details). This list must be emailed to us prior to or at the time of shipment.

Evon Creates is not responsible for discrepancies between what was shipped and what was received if no itemized list was provided in advance. Any items received that are not on the itemized list will be documented and flagged, but Evon Creates assumes no liability for their handling or return.

 

Product Returns

Product returns are not automatically included in our photography service. If you would like your products returned after the shoot, the following is required before return shipping can be arranged:

•  A completed itemized list of all products to be returned, matching what was originally submitted.

•  A prepaid return shipping label provided by the client. Evon Creates will not cover the cost of return shipping under any circumstances.

•  Return requests must be submitted within 30 days of the client receiving their final deliverables.

Products not claimed within 30 days of final delivery, or for which a prepaid return label has not been provided within that window, will be considered abandoned and may be disposed of at our discretion. Evon Creates is not responsible for storing or safeguarding unclaimed products beyond this 30-day period.

Liability for Product Damage During the Shoot

Product photography involves physical handling of items, including positioning, styling, and use of studio equipment. By sending product to Evon Creates, you acknowledge and accept that minor handling may occur during the shoot process.

Evon Creates is not liable for any damage, wear, breakage, spillage, or deterioration of products that occurs during the photography session. This includes but is not limited to: cosmetic products that are opened or swatched for the shoot, packaging that is handled or repositioned, and fragile items that sustain incidental damage. We handle all products with care and professionalism, but we cannot guarantee products will be returned in their original, unused condition.

Liability for Damage or Loss During Return Shipping

Once products have been handed off to the shipping carrier using the client-provided return label, Evon Creates assumes no liability for any damage, loss, theft, delay, or misdelivery that occurs during transit. All shipping-related claims must be filed directly with the carrier by the client.

We strongly recommend that clients purchase shipping insurance for any high-value products. Evon Creates will provide tracking information once the package has been dropped off with the carrier, but is not responsible for monitoring or following up on shipments after handoff.

 

Disputes & Concerns

If you are unhappy with any aspect of your project, please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank or payment provider. We are committed to resolving concerns professionally and fairly, and we’ll always work with you in good faith to find a resolution.

 

Chargebacks initiated without prior communication may result in suspension of services and recovery of any disputed funds through legal means, as permitted under California law.

 

Governing Law

This policy is governed by the laws of the State of California, United States. Any disputes arising from this policy shall be resolved in accordance with California law.
